Helping customers to discover products and make confident purchasing decision that reflect their actual needs and goals.

Problem

Users struggle with identifying which product is best for them which leads to staling in purchases and a higher rate of cart abandonment.

Solution

To tackle this challenge, I designed a dynamic AI-powered shopping experience. Users enjoy a personalized assistant that not only guides them through every step of their purchase but also boosts their confidence that they’re choosing the right product through a seamless, comfortable, and intuitive experience.

Design system

To help flesh out the higher-fidelity flows, I created a simple design system to guide the design and streamline future handoffs to the development team.

Within these flows and a design system fleshed out, I planned out how to incorporate an AI shopping assistant as follows:

Assist with product selection by allowing users to cross-compare similar products within the website based on their needs.
Support during the search process by suggesting saving and organizing previously searched and selected products
Provide predictive feedback on potential product-delivery changes based on similar products and locations.
